About Us

Alkham Court has been in the Burrows family for over 50 years as a traditional Kentish Farm. We are incredibly lucky to live in such a beautiful location and for 15 years we’ve provided farmhouse bed and breakfast accommodation so our guests can experience it too.

We love and enjoy inviting guests into our home. We hope to ensure that everyone is relaxed and welcomed from the start of their arrival to the end of their stay. When you arrive, you’ll receive a warm welcome and complimentary drink with homemade cake, served on hot summer days in our garden or on cooler days in the Oak Room next to the gorgeously warm wood burner.

We can share our local knowledge of the area so you can enjoy the fresh air and spectacular scenery and provide you with maps, books and leaflets so you don’t get lost along the way! Whether you like to cycle on the Kent Downs, walk the White Cliffs of Dover or horse ride on the Alkham bridleways, we are happy to arrange this for you. Please note horse riding must be booked in advance.

Our bedrooms are individually styled offering comfort, relaxation and ‘all the little things’ to make your stay perfect.
