WILDLIFE
& LANDSCAPE
Our Farm is part of an environmental stewardship scheme
which is designed to protect and enhance the flora,
fauna and wildlife. |

have a special area of chalk on which the wonderful
'Adonis Blue' and 'Spotted Silver Skipper' butterflies
can be found. Enjoy our countryside Spring, Summer,
Autumn and Winter. |

In
the spring Cowslips, bluebells and primroses adorn our countryside. |

have resident badgers which can often be seen in our
country lane after dark and at breakfast you may be
lucky enough to see a fox |

LOCAL
PRODUCE.
We source our food locally from local producers and our
local Farmers' Market at Capel-le-Ferne.
Try our delicious breakfast with local sausages made at
Sladden Farm in the Alkham Valley.

RECYCLING
We recycle as much as possible including glass,
plastics, paper, cans etc and making our own compost.

WALKING,
CYCLING & RIDING |
|
| Give
your car a rest and enjoy our local fresh air
and spectacular scenery with challenging bike
rides, enjoyable walks especially 'White Cliffs
of Dover' and many local footpaths. There is fantastic
horse riding on the 'Alkham Rides' bridleways.
We have lots of information including maps, books
& leaflets for our guests to use. |
