Opening Safely at Alkham Court

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Alkham Court and want to ensure your stay with us is as safe and enjoyable for you, so we are taking the following extra measures:

• We have been awarded the ‘We’re Good to Go’ by following the government & industry Covid-19 guidelines.

• Hand sanitizer has been placed at the entrances of all bedrooms, the hot tub and the Oak Room for your use, please do use the sanitizer before entering.

• Face masks are not required whilst in the Oak Room whilst eating, however, outside of these times as the Oak Room is a communal area, we kindly ask you to wear face masks and observe social distancing in accordance with government requirements.

• Arrival:

All our rooms have their own independent access direct to the outside and each room now has its own key safe so our guests can self-check in if you prefer.
We will send you all the information for checking in advance of your stay.
We ask if you can arrive after 4.00 p.m. to allow us extra time for cleaning and for your room to be sufficiently aired before your arrival.

• Our hot tub and sauna will be open and we will ask you to pre-book a time before your arrival if possible.

• Breakfast: Our ‘Oak Room’ for breakfast is very spacious and has plenty of room to allow social distancing between guests. Breakfast will be served to your table and each table will have their own buffet selection of fresh fruit and cereals. Please pre-order your breakfast choices the night before using the forms left in your rooms and drop these off in the Oak Room before 8pm.

• Eating Out/Takeaways: Our local pubs have reopened and are offering takeaways or eating in. If you would prefer to eat a takeaway in our Oak Room please let us know the time you would like to eat and we can make cutlery and plates available for you.

• Payment: A deposit of the first night’s stay will already have been taken at the time of booking. Please ensure you have paid the final balance 24 hours before your arrival. We offer complete flexibility to move bookings for up to 12 months in the event of any restrictions being implemented but unfortunately are unable to offer any refunds.

• Room Service: Due to current restrictions and to keep everyone safe we will not enter your room during your stay. If you require any supplies, please let us know at breakfast time or send a message via email or text before 10.00 a.m.

• Departure: We hope you enjoy your stay at Alkham Court. On the day of your departure please lock your door and return the key in the keysafe.
